I brought the kitten at 7.30 in the morning. The clinic is closed and I wait outside for 10 minutes to enter. The kitten is small and weak and has rhinitis, they keep him for 3 days. I ask them to send me an email with the prescription of the drugs that I would have bought the day before but they ignore me. They gave him back to me because he was breathing better but he had diarrhea. They tell me it's due to coccidiosis. The doctor Ombrello who took care of him cannot be found. He doesn't give me any paper with the treatment carried out, I am confirmed on the phone that the treatment for conjunctivitis has been suspended even though I said that I had given him antibiotic eye drops for 4 days and he should have given him 10. After 5 hours I take him to a another vet and immediately tests him for giardia: positive! After 2 hours the cat no longer has diarrhea. Incompetent! They only think about money! And they are also very expensive! Update: they examined him on a very dirty, undisinfected table, dirty with fur, the cat contracted feline infectious gastroenteritis from them, a deadly disease for cats, in fact he died. So I paid 180 euros to have my cat infected. From complaint!!!!

The reason for the 1 star rating is mainly due to the lack of correctness and the rather questionable answers I received from the clinic staff. My dog was brought to this facility on a Saturday evening in a state of ataxia, probably linked to the use of a drug - which is not even taken into consideration -, instead suspecting an ischemic event. The dog's general condition (apart from balance) is good, as the analyzes performed will later show. Start fluid therapy (1 vial of SALF 0.9%). It is decided to carry out a blood count, then completed at my request with a liver profile (GOT GPT GAMMA GT + ALBUMIN) and kidney profile (CREATININ) specific by telephone for every single component that I would like to be dosed and which is literally dictated to the doctor by the person was there with the dog, I find on the report a string of analytes that I had not requested (see pancreatic amylase, calcium, phosphorus, sodium, potassium etc...). The doctor insists on hospitalizing the dog, at times excessively, which will later be refused. TOTAL COST: 280 EUROS. This morning I decide to look at the details of the invoice. 80 euros "urgency", adequate and correct cost. 100 EURO blood count test, 80 euros Clinical chemistry, tests that I have already performed previously and several times at my vet and paid exactly half, 20 euros fluid therapy (cost of a vial of SALF 0.9%: 3 euros, the dog has administered half). I gloss over the 20 euros for fluid therapy. I decide to call the clinic, introducing myself, telling them what happened and politely asking the price of a simple blood test at their facility. The person on the other end of the phone replies that she doesn't know how much a blood test might cost, because on Saturday evening he was on duty. As if the cost of a test varied based on the time of day in which it is performed, after a fee of 80 euros has already been applied by the doctor who welcomes you to the facility, precisely because it is an emergency. Faced with my complaints, I was told with great professionalism that the fault for their costs lies with my vet who is not available to visit the dog on Saturdays at 9.30pm and that they have to pay overtime to the doctor who provides the service. night not only with the 80 euros already paid, but also with a 100% increase on the price of a test which, for the structure that carries it out, already has a negligible cost to say the least. Subsequently, the person on the other end of the phone claims, after a cloying monologue on the work and the service offered, that the money was not extorted, but paid spontaneously, that the costs also depend on the machinery used to analyze the sample and that she a blood count that during the day can cost 50 euros, at night can cost up to 1000 euros, because only they work and they are a private clinic. The nails on the mirrors started to screech much louder than the wallets of us unfortunates. First of all, the machinery used is unfortunately the exact same one used by my vet, as the reports testify. Secondly, it is true that the money was not extorted (far be it from me to support this circumstance), but it is also true that there is a clear attempt to fleece customers as much as possible, finally all the banalities about the service offered to the city with love and dedication they have miserably crashed and shattered on the presumption and arrogance of being able to claim the right to establish stellar rates with impunity, since they lack competition. I'm sorry, but medical ethics is a completely different thing, precisely because we are talking about living beings and human beings terrified by the idea of losing their animal and not about fruit and vegetables. Truly a huge shame. P.S.: I don't express any judgment on the quality of the work: the dog left the clinic without a diagnosis and the situation then spontaneously returned (they don't get credit for saving his life).
